I picked some of the 2 Below up today, but I got so hooked on the Mothership Wit I didn't drink anything else.

I'm not generally a big fan of October's, but Shipyard Pumpkinhead is great...

Spent yesterday afternoon with Patti in a local pub watching college football, visiting with friends and drinking Sam Adams Winter Lager and Shipyard Prelude - both seasonals and both were very good.

I just had Sam Adams Winter Lager for the first time on Saturday and it instantly vaulted to #1 on my beer list.

I tried to tell ya'll about it earlier in this thread. It is absolutely fantastic. But as much as I love it, full moon by blue moon tops it. If you can find it, its like an even better version of Sam Adam's winter. It is, almost, perfect. I can't get enough of it. Each sip leaves me wanting more and its a good alcohol level of 5.6 so 3 or 4 starts getting you a nice buzz. Well, me anyway, cause I put em down quick its so good.

Sorry I couldn't write a summary on each beer. If I had time I would have, but I barely convinced my boss to let me post that as I convinced him it was okay because it was work related. I

Winter Lager is OK...its a good winter lager for a main stream beer....but if you want an ACTUAL good winter beer, you should try Ridgeway Brewing's series of beers....they are called Bad Elf, Criminally Bad Elf, Seriously Bad Elf, Very Bad Elf, Insanely Bad Elf.

A winter seasonal is supposed to be high in %....5.6 is real low these are 9% and up.

Also Sam Smith, Winter Welcome....its a true winter warmer 18%
