Pujols

Albert Pujols told told KSDK-TV that he's leaning towards undergoing Tommy John surgery.

Cards fans can look at the bright side here: if the team misses the postseason, it'd be a lot easier for Pujols to undergo the surgery and still be ready for next year. If the Cardinals were to play deep into October, Pujols would probably put the procedure off for another year.
Between Pujols and Brady, I'm convinced JP has done something really terrible. God hates him apparently.

Also, something that I've told a couple of you, but U2 were supposed to release their album in November.

Last week, they said it won't come out till late Winter/Spring 2009. I'm left wondering what I've done wrong too.

Well, Pujols has been hurt since 2003 with this injury, however, Brady sure seems like it might be a karma deal for cheating and running up the score last year. There's no garauntee he'll be great when he comes back either, I mean look at Carson Palmer since his injury. He's been good, but he's never reached the level he was at before he got hurt

Carson Palmer wasn't all that good before his injury.

That would be an incorrect statement. More realistic is that Palmer is still a pretty good QB, considering he threw for 4000 yards last year anyway. I don't buy that he's never been the same, I will buy that Chad Johnson isn't as good anymore.

Also, in addendum, not all that good before his injury? Would that be like in 2005 when he completed 67% of his passes for 32 td's and 12 int's? Or how about that 2006 season when he threw for 4,035 yards and 28 td's vs. only 13 int's?

Bren, can you please start posting again - stupidity on this board has been approaching an all-time low...

I should have asked just how good Aaron was suggesting Palmer was first. With the weapons he had in CJ, Housh and Rudi (and after spending 3 years surrounded my miserably deluded Bengals fans) I may have presumed Aaron was suggesting Palmer was a Great QB (because I heard that all the time in Cinci). He's not. He's a Good QB who had some Great weapons. It's a shame the Bengals missed their window, but they did and bengals fans are going to continue thinking they had/have an amazing QB, rather than a good one with a lot of offensive talent around him.
