Question...

Checking a frequent yankees blog, Pete Abraham of the Journal News (great blog by the way Yanks fans) I came across this tidbit of information.

Did you know that Ian Kennedy was activated off the disabled list on Wednesday? He was - and at the same time was optioned to Single-A Tampa.

Rotoworld still has him listed on the DL (Typically what I use for all injury tracking) Basically I want to know if I can activate him in the sim, because technically he is off the DL, or if we use a particular site (ie rotoworld) for injuries and since that has him still listed on the DL he can not be activated yet.

Any input (esp. from the ExCo) would be appreciated on this matter.
Thanks.

If he was activated and optioned, he definitely should be available. Rotoworld is not infallible, and I think that when you know they're wrong you just need to point it out like this.

Now, with Abraham as the source, I don't know. :) This is the man who caused you to want Aceves more than my Yankees arms.

We use Sportsline as our official transaction list in BCMBL.

Hasn't missed a Major League transaction yet this year, and carries quite a few minor league one's as well.

Kennedy was clearly posted on the site since he was on the 15 day DL, which I believe is the major league DL, and not the minor league.
