Whilst I imagine I'll be deadlocked in a pennant race all 2008, it's never bad to look ahead to 2009...

4. Adam Dunn: .249/.411/.542 15 hr's, 39 rbi

Adam Dunn has been nothing short of dominating in his short time in Arizona. He has a Bonds-ian 11 walks in 8 games, has homered in back-to-back games, and has ops'd 1.129 since he arrived. He's bumped himslf up to .238/.383/.534 for the season.

***EDIT***
Thought this was a funny quote - the one disease you DON'T want vaccinated:

"That's why we got Dunn right there," third baseman Mark Reynolds said. "That was a big home run right there."

Dunn is known for a patient approach at the plate, and that's something the D-backs have shown since his arrival.

"It just seems like it takes a lot of pressure off the guys throughout the lineup," manager Bob Melvin said. "Sometimes things like that can be contagious."

Milton Bradley ripped another homer last night, his 21st of the year. On the season, Milton has put up an incredibly impressive .317/.444/.589 stat line, and is first in the AL with his 1.033 ops.

Chipper Jones ended a 10-game hitting streak last night. He is at .362/.469/.573 on the season, for a 1.035 ops that ranks 2nd in the NL.
