Because the paperwork never went through on his previous transaction, Chris Denorfia remains on the MLB disabled list with a back injury.
The A's announced that they'd activated Denorfia from the DL and optioned him to Triple-A last week, but the move never became official and now his back is acting up again.
IThe IBC Mets had Denorfia farmed when he was reportedly DL'd and then activated when he was reportedly activated. I will send in an updated MP today farming Denorfia (once again leading off Gomez) but I do not believe the IBC Mets should be penalized ...
