Off-season Block

While the regular season is still underway, the Guardians are trending toward oblivion. Therefore, let's get started on off-season moves.

I'll be looking to pick up some draft picks before February, primarily in the first couple rounds. I also will need a middle infielder and 1-2 middle/back relievers.

Available:

Nick Pivetta: wrapping up a 3.5+ fwar season

Jurickson Profar: 2025 stats mirror 2024 stats, with a solid 127 RC+ In a full season, he likely matches his HR/RBI numbers

Young SP: I have a chunk of guys in the Harrison, Wicks, Santos, Rock mold

Dylan Crews: I'm very high on Crews, but I recognize he needs a little more work with the bat. Ideally, DeLauter starts in LF next year, so Crews could be had. But he'll require a good amount.

Thank you for your vast contributions to this thread. Xander Bogaerts is still 3x better than Michael Harris this year. Not sure your assessments are relevant...

You mean the guy I traded for Pete Crow Arm?

I'm adding Corey Seager to my offseason block. He's my longest-tenured player -- I drafted him in 2012 and have never traded him (Other than the great April Fools Day Trade of 2024). However, in the spirit of my 2025 plan to get younger, I'm seeing what's out there.

ZiPS are, unexpectedly, top-notch: .260/.349/.458 136 OPS+ +3 D 4.6 fWAR 21 HR in 430 AB. Tulo, Josh Donaldson, George Brett comps. I have no real startable option behind him, so I would be looking for a young MLB/mature prospect with a projection SS to replace him since Rainer and Morales are still a ways off.

Open to ideas and the offseason is long. Lemme know.
