Probable roster adjustments

Pretty sure I am about to blow up the 2025 IBC Padres as it currently exists as I am disappointed in how their collective performance is underwhelming. Very unlikely to move Shane Smith ... If I do so the emphasis in return will be 2026 and beyond ...

I have received quite a few messages concerning quite a few players and I will respond but probably not today as Patti and I are sanding our outdoor teak furniture while watching the White Sox play the Mets (Sox currently up 5-3). Tonight I have two meetings. Tomorrow we are going to a Zack Brown Band concert at Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion.

Sanding furniture sounds like a lot more fun than watching this year's edition of the White Sox. Rough.
Enjoy the show!

Back in Maine after last night's awesome Zac Brown Band concert. Will start responding to the the 9 GMs that have inquired about 10 players - some more then others. Not surprisingly 5 are interested in Hader; 3 in Machado, Schwarber, Romano and O'Neill ... Hope to blow up things this weekend - particularly during a rainy Saturday ...

I have received a number of good offers for various packages involving Machado, Schwarber and/or Hader. I expect all three will be traded today or tonight. So consider this last call if you want to make an offer ...

Players being asked about include O'Neill, Romano, Walker, Lopez, Bader, Schmidt, Verlander, Fernandez and even newly acquired Westburg ... All are likely to leave San Diego this week so feel free to pitch ideas if so inclined ... My focus remains primarily on 2026 and beyond ... To that end, Rocker, Smith, Emerson and Beltre are unlikely to be involved in trade discussions ...

Romano seems to be drawing the most interest right now as I am considering several packages which include him ... Intend to move him by mid-week ...

I am reviewing several very good trade offers involving Walker, O'Neill and others. This will likely be the last trade I make "blowing up" this roster. I plan to complete a deal by tonight as Patti and I are leaving to attend the awesome (though this year is forecast to be a tad rainy) New Hampshire Bacon and Beer Festival Saturday. (BTW: If, in fact, it does rain it will be the 12th Saturday in a row we have experienced rain fall for at an hour between midnight and midnight but at least it should lessen the effects of the Canadian wildfires ...)
