Trade Deadline
What do you guys think about changing the deadline (starting next year) from Aug 31 to Labor Day? Almost everyone would have the day off, might lead to a more active trade day. And while some may be away for Labor Day weekend, as is 2/7ths of the time the trade deadline will come on Sat or Sun of Labor Day weekend anyway as is.

I don't really have a position on it. I think 8/31 is pretty clean as it is. There are like 10 months a year to make deals and we're a month after MLB anyway, so I don't think more time is really an issue.

One other aspect of changing the deadline: usually MLB has a full slate of games on Labor Day. We can add that one extra day in to the sim schedule as the normal Sunday, then get a new DB out on Tuesday with all the new transactions in place to start up Tuesday's games with.
