Top 30 Prospects

Post by Yankees »

Baby asleep, watching Tottenham...let's do one!

1. Anthony Volpe - Dude's just a beast
2. Taj Bradley - TORP stuff, the command/consistency needs to follow
3. Colton Cowser - If he can stay in & keep finding his power, he can be a cornerstone
4. Logan O'Hoppe - I probably overrate him, but defense, power, and patience all there
5. Gavin Stone - Massive breakout year and excellent stuff, can he be better than mid-rotation?
6. George Valera - Big bat, beautiful swing, can play a corner, but swing-&-miss an issue
7. Ken Waldichuk - Just solid mid-rotation stuff with more potential if the command comes
8. Jack Leiter - Still has the #2 pick stuff, needs to reset in AA this year
9. Spencer Jones - Big man who hits the ball really hard and will play the of, but can he control the zone?
10. Coby Mayo - Big expectations for a very big bat, needs to elevate it a little more
11. Jett Williams - Small, but a terrific athlete with great bat-to-ball and hopes power follows
12. Everson Pereira - The more ab's he gets, the more real a prospect he becomes
13. Cole Young - Tremendous bat-to-ball, probable SS, will the power come?
14. Drew Romo - Probable catcher, big '22, looking to build on for '23
15. Esteury Ruiz - Statistician's dream, will get his full MLB shot in '23
16. Jonathan Aranda - Big, big bat, more valuable if he's not just a 1b
17. Owen Caissie - Massive athletic potential, does enough to hang around Top 100 lists
18. Prelander Berroa - If he can be a starter, he will scream up this list
19. Yoendrys Gomez - Eye-opening spring for this highly thought of, but oft-injured prospect
20. Zack Gelof - Decent '22, will shoot up this list if he finds '21 form
21. Justin Foscue - Dude can hit it, but needs to find a full-time position
22. Jorbit Vivas - Zips favorite is a versatile infielder with great bat-to-ball
23. Dahian Santos - Shoots up this list if his '23 is close to his '22
24. Seth Johnson - Some of the best pure stuff in the minors, just can't stay on the field
25. Jud Fabian - Had 1.1 looks, zips loves him, and a toolshed with a little too much swing-&-miss
26. Jhonkensy Noel - Overlooked prospect with absolutely massive power, but 1b only
27. Clarke Schmidt - Getting stretched out as a starter, if he starts he shoots back up this list
28. Ryan Cermak - Big-time power, excellent defense, big swing-&-miss
29. Nathan Martorella - Big bat, big debut, locked in at 1b
30. Kristian Robinson - Shoots up this list when he's eligible to play again
ITALICS = made top 100 list

Just Missed (alphabetical): Elijah Dunham, Estevan Florial, Tyler Hardman, Porter Hodge, Leo Jimenez, Hayden Juenger, Cooper Kinney, Ryan Kreidler, Grant Lavigne, Noah Song, Colby Thomas, Luca Tresh
