Through 23 games we have 10 wins. Of those 10 wins, 4 have come against other teams closers. Check out these lines:

3/26 Neshek BS 1, L 0-1 0.2 6 6 6 0 1 27 17 81.00
4/1 Neshek BS 2, L 0-2 0.1 3 2 2 1 1 18 9 27.00
4/18 Wilson,B L 1-2 2.0 3 2 1 0 0 22 16 1.29
4/24 Wagner,B BS 1, L 0-1 0.2 4 3 3 1 2 31 21 7.84

Meanwhile teams have only recorded 3 saves against us. What does that mean? It means bring on your closer, he's got a better chance of blowing the game than finishing it off!

In the 2nd game of the Oakland/Atlanta series Julio Lugo tied the game with a 2 out single off of Joe Nathan. Seriously, don't bring your closer in against me.

He's not exactly Joe Nathan, but the A's came back against Jose Ascanio in the 9th inning on Friday. We now have a 6-18 record when trailing after 7, that's good for the most wins and the highest winning percentage in that category. And we don't even believe in clutch!

4 game series with Chicago, 3 out of 4 end with 9th inning comebacks. The A's now have 13 comeback wins when trailing after 7, that's as many 8/9th inning comebacks as the Blue Jays, Orioles, and Yankees COMBINED.
