Taking nominations below. Please post with stats/justification.
Bogaerts played 162 at SS for the Royals batting .296/.377/.535 which was respectively 4th in the AL/3rd in the AL/4th in the AL. He had 187 hits (44 doubles, 35 HR), scored 109 runs - all of which were in the top 10 in the AL. Bogaerts had an efficient stolen base % of .852 and lead the AL in runs created at 132 finishing 2nd in the AL total bases with 338. Defensively he finished tied for 1st among AL SS in fielding % at .989 ...Still don’t have internet here in southwest Florida so I can’t access the DB for stats from home but nominate Xander Bogaerts. I know he had a great year
Thanks for doing this Jim, much appreciated. Looks like Bogaerts has a chance. He was the one constant in my lineup while so many injured guys came and went around him.WhiteSox wrote: ↑Mon Oct 10, 2022 8:44 amBogaerts played 162 at SS for the Royals batting .296/.377/.535 which was respectively 4th in the AL/3rd in the AL/4th in the AL.
