HR Pool 2022
It's that time of year again for the HR Pool competition! For a recap: there's a sheet on the website that requires you to pick one name from each of the 4 lists and then 3 names not on any list. Entries are $25 each. The winner last year (yours truly) brought home $1,500. The IBC has had great success in recent years.

Yeah, it used to. The guy who runs the lists/money is pretty old school (I run the site). I need to figure out a way to fully automate entries but I just haven't had a chance to look into it. If anyone has any knowledge of Smartsheet or other free web-based apps that can easily upload submissions to an already existing sheet, let me know.

I don't know if its free, but jotform is something you could utilize - I use it to issue forms for partners and collect information directly into a spreadsheet. Google might even have something similar that is free - Google forms can collect information on survey's, I don't see why you couldn't configure it to a hr pool entry.Tigers wrote: ↑Tue Apr 05, 2022 11:04 pm Yeah, it used to. Thanks Nate!
Re: HR Pool 2022
You can definitely use Google Forms - it'll collect the responses and then you can create a spreadsheet with them. I've played around with it in the past and it should have all the functionality you need.

Re: HR Pool 2022
Thanks for the suggestions.
For those of you so inclined, feel free to fill this out and give me some feedback on what you think. This is kind of a beta version that I might roll out next year. This feeds into a spreadsheet that I can easily automate to the main website:

Thanks,

And we're live. Only 3 IBC participants this year (me, Degen, Berger), but overall entries are up from 163 to 218.
