In an otherwise dismal year (62-100) for the 2021 IBC White Sox - filled with aggressive roster turn over - RHP Connor Seabold got a chance to start after most of the veteran starting pitchers were traded and performed relatively well. Seabold started 22 games and had 11 Quality Starts including 1 complete game shutout on the way to a solid 8-6 record featuring a 106/35 K/BB in 128.2 IP with a solid .640 STR%. His ERA was 4.06 with a 1.17 WHIP and his RCERA was a respectable 3.63.

Another solid rookie performer for the woe-begotten 2021 IBC White Sox was OF (primarily LF) Cal Stevenson who played 146 games batting .259/.341/.337 (596 PA) setting the plate (after Anderson was traded) and leading the team with 137 hits (46 hits vs LHP tied for 9th in the AL even though he is a southpaw), 178 TB, 69 runs, 63 BBs (his 1.7 Strikeout/walk ratio was tied for 9th in the AL) and 14 SBs ... certainly not an All Star but a reliable rookie performer.
