JP Are You Worried Yet?

In an attempt to karmically reverse current trends and get a little humor out of a bad situation, I'm going to slightly alter an old Bill Simmons bit here and keep on top of JP's attitude about Jose Reyes, who's got a .247/.337/.390 line since the 2007 All-Star Break and monthly OPS's going .770, .733, .612, .526 consecutively, how confident he still is in one of his cornerstones. As of today we get this:

WhoWoodJesusDo44 (6:43:06 PM): at what point are u officially worried about jose reyes
WhoWoodJesusDo44 (6:43:07 PM): ?
stlvertigo (6:43:23 PM): lol oh no a 10 game slump
stlvertigo (6:43:50 PM): im aok with reyes

Hopefully this doesn't need to be too regular a segment :D

Bill Hall went 0-for-4 and grounded into two double plays behind him, dropping his average to .210.

Jake, are you worried yet?

Jose Reyes finished 4-for-5 with a run scored in his return against the Nationals on Tuesday night.
Reyes was a home run away from hitting the cycle, and appears to be just fine after missing two games with a strained hamstring. The most encouraging news could be that he attempted a stolen base in his first game back, even if he was caught.

I was at the game last night (first time at Shea!) and Reyes did look good.

Other observation, the group of us who went all agreed Ronnie Belliard looks and moves like a chick from the neck down. Well, except for the crotch grabbing he did all night.

After seeming to come out of his slump Jose Reyes is now just 1 for his last 13 with 2 Ks. JP are you worried yet?
