Taking Offers

While I believe I've got a few years of contending left in this group, this upcoming year is going to be bonkers crazy on my end. I love either being constantly reactive to my team or rebuilding my team...and I just can't promise to myself I'll be as constantly active as I'll need to contend. That's going to sound like a tremendous excuse, but I think it's showed by my complete fog in knowing that zips were being released. Something I'm normally directly on top of...so I'm going to consider blowing it up. I have a TON of parts that will help people attempting to contend, and I think many here know I love a good rebuild.

To that, this group is on the block...I'm looking for up-and-coming young MLBers and prospects. Let's see where it goes through the holidays!

For Picks/Pick Upgrades/Decent Prospects:
Yoenis Cespedes - Usable SIM...who knows what you get out of him?
Steve Cishek - SIM likes him, but struggled for me
Deolis Guerra - 3.06 era in 61.2 ip's in SIM last year with 76 k's
Brock Holt - Good versatility.
Matt Reynolds - Versatile.
Yolmer Sanchez - Decent year, good glove.
Mac Williamson - The SIM is decent fan.
Ryan Zimmerman - Very good SIM still vs. lefties (1.000 SIM for me in limited AB's)

Will Take a Little/Lot More:
Michael Fulmer - 7-1, 2.40 era in the SIM for me...mid-season move won me the division
Adrian Houser - 10-8, 4.40 era in the SIM for me...kept trying to get him out of the rotation, kept staying in it
Tim Locastro - Terrific year in MLB, a player the SIM is intrigued about.
Kevin Pillar - .261/.312 in SIM for me w/ VG in CF...Good MLB year, too
Kevin Plawecki - Good MLB year for a good SIM backup C...might SIM like a starter.
Kyle Schwarber - Hit 30 SIM homers for me...He'll have another good SIM for sure. Still in his prime.
Dan Vogelbach - He'll hit some homers (26 in SIM as a platoon) and get on base (.366 obp in SIM).

Deolis Guerra does it again! 115 era+ with a starter's SIM and 10.6 k/9.

32 year old journeyman reliever with a career -0.3 WAR and zero career starts in 83 major league appearances. ZiPS is weird sometimes.

It's incredible. Not gonna sugarcoat it. It just can't quit him.

What are the odds it is a screw up and that rating belongs to junior guerra?

BUMP!

Good sim's for Vogelbach, Houser, & Guerra. List above updated!

I'd consider Carter Kieboom (SIM still lists him as a SS!) in the right deal, too.

Fun fact.... His comp, Mark Acre, was the closer for the now defunct Madison Muskies back in '93 when I worked for them
