ESPN was reporting on the Nats new stadium and said the locker room is equipped with high speed wireless internet, and each locker has its own iPod charger.

Now players can listen to music and rotoworld search themselves before every game!

They can also keep up with all their SIM leagues.

What a great game. It definitely got me back into the baseball mood. Not to mention my guy Odalis pitched 5 innings of one run ball. Thank God next year is finally here.

If only I didn't have to listen to Joe Morgan the entire game.

What I'm most looking forward to about this year is Joe's partner Jon Miller, who is phenomenally entertaining on the local broadcasts, trying to come up with anything positive to say about the Giants, especially when Cain and Lincecum aren't pitching. I didn't get to see the game tonight, does Nationals Park (and btw shouldn't they have called it The National Park and sold the naming rights to the US Park Service? Anyone else think that's cool or is it just me?) seem like it plays to hitters or pitchers?

You can't tell yet about Nationals park.

It seemed to look like a pitchers park, as a few of the shots hit looked like homers, but stayed in.....then again, it was cold, so the ball doesn't carry the same.....

I think they said the wall is about 10 feet closer than RFK...all in all, I think it'll still be friendly to pitchers, but not in the vein of Safeco or Petco....

Also, does anyone know if Jon Miller is using the correct pronunciation of players names, or does he have his own language?

Baseball is getting underway at Wrigley Field right now. RIGHT NOW.

I'm so happy.

He likes to have fun with exotic names. He gets really over the top on Giants broadcasts.

What the hell kind of scheduling is MLB using? The Nats and Braves play one game to open the year and then they go off and play different teams. Thats kind of retarded. I know its the begininng of the year but baseball is still about series isnt it? Did I miss something?

They must have let Brian Sabean make the schedule as well.
