Jake and Jim's terms are ending in a few months. I was thinking about this the other day, and not sure where I lay in it, but wouldn't it make more sense to have them booted from ExCo office or re-elected either before or after the season? In the middle of the season seems semi abrupt, but at the same time during the middle of the year can be pretty tranquil. Nothing big really comes up in June besides DL problems and eventually people bitching about their deals being vetoed and playing damage control.

Anyway, just touching base on how this will be handled and if we are indeed scheduled to do a vote on this in June.

it does seem logical to do it either before or after the season rather than in the middle. I'd advocate the end of the season personally, we've got a lot going on at the beginning of the season, it's not really a good time for making that kind of change IMO.

I agree with Bren, I had originally told JP I thought middle of the winter was fitting, but end of the season is just fine as well.

I'm A-OK with the end of the season as well. Just figured that it's a bit awkward mid-year, but there is some sense behind it.

So I guess we're stuck with Jake and Jim until October? ;-)
