The New England Patriots and Randy Moss are finalizing terms on a three-year, $27 million deal, a source told ESPN's Chris Mortensen.

After the Super Bowl loss, his saying they were less prepared, and his courtship of Daunte Culpepper I really just don't see this thing ending well.

I'm not too worried about that, there isn't a team in the NFL that has done a better job with chemistry and discipline than the Pats. Whether he's productive now that he's not playing for a contract would be a bigger question IMHO.

Don't underestimate the loss of Stallworth....Welker will have to do a little more now, if that's at all possible.

Gaffney had pretty much replaced Stallworth by the end of last season. I'm more concerned about who's going to play defense...

Ronnie Lott could come back and play in their system.

It might not be a bad idea going after Lito Sheppard now that the Eagles have Samuel.

Isn't Gaffney unsigned too?

Yeah he is, didn't realize that. Well, um, Troy Brown could come back, though the Pats might need him at corner too.

Gaffney will likely stay. Chad Jackson should have a role in the offense after studying it for two years as well. High second round draft choice, yet to really get a chance to play aside from some kick returns.

How quickly people seem to forget just how much Brady was able to do with piss-poor receivers before. He's still got Welker and Moss, the offense is going to be just fine.
