Semi-Pro is coming out this weekend and I am one of the many Will Ferrell fans who are excited to see it. He has his own comedic style and it is definitely not for everybody. He's one of those polar people who you either love or hate and thats pretty much the end of the discussion.

So, as I wait to see the movie this weekend, I pose the question to you, my fellow GMs. Is Will Ferrell funny?

Were you a fan of Anchorman? Talladega Nights? His surprise cameo in Wedding Crashers? If you haven't seen the trailer for Step Brothers yet, you should check it out.

I personally think he's awesome.

Best things I've seen Ferrell in are More Cowbell and a video he did about his landlady. That's not a knock because I've evnjoyed most of his work a lot, the roles Gabe mentioned were all great (although the Director's cut or whatever of Talladega Nights sucked balls). Anchorman was especially great. On the other hand I saw 10 minutes of Blades of Glory and turned it off and Semi-Pro looks equally terrible, I doubt I'll see it.

Neil Diamond: VH1 Storytellers might be my favorite SNL skit ever. "I wrote this song after I killed a drifter to get an erection..." Hilarious.

I loved Will Ferrell on SNL, I'm kinda pissed at him now because it seems like he's basically doing the same character over and over again in his movies, what made him great on SNL was the variety.

Bingo. Although, even in SNL, he did the Overgrown Manchild too much.

The Deep Space sketch with Jeff Goldblum made me cry the first time I saw it. I just couldn't stop laughing.

Celebrity Jeopardy is hands down the funniest SNL skit of my generation.

HEY! If you had the choice between being the top scientist in your field or getting mad cow disease, which would you pick?

I saw Semi-Pro tonight. It was okay, but everything was predictable. If you have a discount theatre that shows movies after they're done at the main theatres where you live, wait until it gets there to see it
