I have no question in my mind that my actions on the trade were in conformity with the rules. There is also no question in my mind that if someone else on the ExCo had stepped up and enforced the rule, there wouldn't have been half as much stink about it.
In this case, maybe you guys forgot the rule or the precedent, JP certainly seems to have. And maybe this is a case where the precedent wasn't as obvious since it doesn't come up too often but enough members of this league react negatively enough just because that's what they ALWAYS do to anything I say (and even moreso now since they feel they can 'get away with it') that it would be nice to have the rest of you guys step up and be the ones to say "Hey, you broke this rule, this is the penalty/consequence".
Somehow though, I doubt that'll happen.

Frankly I couldn't find this rule anywhere after you mentioned it. I looked in the rules. This is a precursor to one of the next things I wanted to bring up to ExCo.

I realize we have the whole ruling body that votes to make important decisions, but we should probably start specializing as well...ie Bren handles trade protests, JP handles injury violations, etc. It came to mind since we usually do seem to sit here sometimes waiting for each other to make the move or asking each other what to do. Let's get an individual focused in each area that can help move some things along smoother.
