Anyone gonna watch the Alliance of American Football? I'm kind of curious myself. I watched the first game of the trainwreck that was the XFL back in the day, this can't be any worse, right?

I didn't watch it, but apparently it drew better ratings than the Rockets game which was a primetime NBA game. Not shocking.

Are they putting their own names on the back of jerseys or monikers...because "He Hate Me" was great.

I didn't even know AAF was a thing until I saw this post - that's how out of touch with the world I've been for the past 9 months.

It's fun to see this in 'The Dumpster' because this has fallen into one as fast as it was praised. Getting bailed out on your first round of paychecks is not a good indication for long-term success. Can't begin to imagine what the Hurricanes guy was thinking...

I would wager that I have watched more AAF football than anyone who hasn't been paid to watch it. I'm just mesmerized by the train wreck, I mean Mike Singletary coaching Christian Hackenburg? Now that's entertainment. Why anyone thought that there was demand for a football league where the quarterbacks can't throw and the receivers can't catch is beyond me. What I'm really interested in is how negotiations broke down such that both the AAF and the XFL are launching separately. I cannot wait to see what happens next year (and also for those two leagues to merger by 2021).

You misspelled '...die a fiery death before either gets to 2021'.
