Atlanta GM
We need to revisit this and get somebody in. It doesn't seem like anybody else is at risk of leaving the league currently, so we should proceed as though we have 1 vacant spot only.

Re: Atlanta GM
So did we come to a consensus out of the guys provided early in the season or were we waiting and hoping someone better came along?

Re: Atlanta GM
Our consensus was we weren't completely thrilled with either candidate. Should we do another all call to GMs to find a buddy/co-worker? JP: didn't you have a guy who might work?

Yeah, we need to get something figured out here. Do we have any new leads?

Sure seems like no, so I posted on the announcement removing Brandon to see if anyone in the league does.

Re: Atlanta GM
Former member Brett Degen is interested in returning to take over the Braves. I have been trading emails with him for about a week. He admits he hasn't been following baseball as closely as in the past and has some work to do. In fact, he's been studying some of the prospect sites to start getting up to speed. But he recalls the league stuff (dmb, lineups, injuries, etc.) which I think is a big part of the learning curve. I told him I'd be happy to help him along as he gets reacclimated.
JP: his email is brett.degen@gmail.com if you'd like to reach out.

Re: Atlanta GM
I'm in favor of that if he's been studying to get back into league shape. Like you said that's a big part of the learning curve

Re: Atlanta GM
He's interested and vows to be active.
I'm good bringing him on board if everybody else is.

Let’s give it a shot.
Re: Atlanta GM
Looks like I'm late to the party but I am in Texas and just met a guy that would be a perfect candidate. If you guys wanna vet him for the future I'll contact him when I get home this weekend. Former college baseball player at TCU, sports management grad at SMU, super interested in the league

JP: are we ready to get Brett credentials and announce to the league?
