Royals 2018-2019 Off-season Block

Royals have a couple priorities this offseason:

1) I'd like to move back in the draft. Right now I'm holding the #4 pick, but would like to move that for some sort of package. Open to picks/prospects/MLBers given the value is there.

2) I'm interested in packaging a couple prospects (and/or picks) for more established talent either at the MLB level or a better regarded prospect. This is kind of open ended, just looking for a match.

3) Still have a few MLB'ers that can supplement contenders that I'd like to prioritize moving. The return isn't expected to be significant and can be included in either of the above ideas as well. However, this one is likely dependent on ZIPs releases, but here's who I'm looking to move prior to opening day:

Alen Hanson, Brian Goodwin, Zach Duke, Gabriel Moya, Chris Rusin, Luke Jackson.

4) Open to talking about anyone if you have a particular interest/need that someone on my roster can address. Happy to make a deal if it's mutually beneficial.

PM is best!

So Luke Jackson received 2 starts in the zips file that just came out, so he will be getting the ability to start again in 2019. On top of that, he saw y/o/y improvments in:

K/9 - went from 8.25 to 9.60
HR/9 - went from 0.63 to 0.56
ERA - went from 4.00 to 3.62
FIP - went from 3.94 to 3.63
ERA+ - went from 106 to 119

Last year as a starter, Jackson pitched 197.1 innings and had a 3.15 ERA, which was good for 44th best ERA among pitchers with 5 or more starts. And he got a better projection for next year.

He'll help you and I'm ready to deal. Hit me up and we'll talk details.
