Series 1 and 2

Post by Cardinals »

Six games have been simmed, scores/stats can be seen here:

reports/winter2008/

A few interesting stats to be found here. A surprise to be seen at the top of the NL Standings sitting at 5-1. A couple surprises are sitting atop the AL Standings as well.

Lincecum has arrived to the tune of 2-0.

A World Series rematch sends it to 16 innings in St. Louis.

Toronto & Milwaukee lead the league in runs scored at 48 so far.

The Red Sox have only allowed 13 runs through 6 games.

Pena, Hafner, Markakis and Teagarden! lead the league with 4 home runs so far as well. Markakis also paces the league with 14 RBIs.

Tune in tomorrow night for more Winter League ball!

Also, feel free to check out the Winter League's site, which will soon be fully functional with the box scores on the side as the main site is!

I hereby decree that Andy Pettitte shall NEVER start a game against St. Louis ever again.
