My computer went down at the wrong time, and I missed out on the 'waiver fest' so, better late than never. Since I don't know if I will have access when the new free agents clear waivers, and I have an open roster spot, I'll go ahead and put a claim in for Tom Hickman.

Mets sign Chris Demaria (RP)

Although this 26 year old RHP really did not do well with the Brewers early in the season last year (11/9 K/BB with a 5.93 ERA but amazingly only a 1.39 WHIP in 13.2 IP) he did manage a 50/17 K/BB with a 2.96 ERA and 1.26 WHIP in 51.2 IP at Nashville. He is reported to have a nice changeup which is unfortunately coupled with a mediocre fastball which means he may be a one year wonder on the Mets roster ...

Nonetheless, the rebuilding IBC Mets sign Demaria to help in the bullpen as he projects to have a 2.4 K/BB ratio along with a 1.33 WHIP and a VG relief durability rating. Southpaws are projected to hit .214/.290/.357 against Demaria while all hitters are projected at .246/.325/.420.
