Its a good article Shawn, but I did hear numerous times that even though he knew his son was going to take over at the end of the season he didnt want the program to have second thoughts with such a long waiting period in between seasons.

This is what was talked about and what everyone reported on it.

I'm not going to argue with your article - as I do kind of recall that - but, again, this decision was made by Knight, Pat Knight, and the AD. It wasn't like Bobby woke up one morning and said, "Today's the day."

I don't know how much y'all are paying attention to the Big 12, but damn, Texas is looking FINE right now--I'd call them the best-playing team in the country. Augustin on offense is such a joy to watch and their defense is dang near sublime. I wouldn't want to play them in March...

Shawn, that's a good article and really does reflect how out of control fans can get. Despite all the emotional attachments, in the end, it is still just a game and life is so much more important.

It is unfortunate that, at times, fans lose site of this.

Whooops. A.J. Price probably shouldn't have popped off on Providence in the Hartford Courant until after tonight's game.

I don't know what to think about Clemson. They're bipolar. I've watched games of theirs where I think they're potentially a Sweet 16/Elite 8 team, like their OT loss to UNC earlier in the year and then I see games where they stink up the joint. Guess I'll just have them 1 and done in the tourney

yeesh. I just don't love the ACC after the top 2 this year. early exits for all, imo.
