I don't get it Dave. All the risk that Mathis won't be able to build off a solid ALCS with the reward of a couple of mid draft picks? You're putting up all the risk and not getting much of a potential reward back.

He gained a lot of spots in a draft where the chances that he finds a player better then a solid defensive, .200 hitting catcher are probably halfway decent. I picked up Mathis because I needed a solid defensive backup, as I employ the power-hitting, defensive-sive Mike Napoli.

Sell it however you want Z, I'll pass on the snake oil too. We'll see once the draft goes down what the best player Dave gets in the 3rd/4th round is.
