His correct listing should be:

This is what I was asking about.

Different first name.
Different last name.
Different position listed.
Different birth date.

On a team whose last owner is no longer in the league. Part of the latest mini-draft. Can it be proven that he was creating the same player, given dissimilarities at every slot used to identify players and the original creators absence?

I don't think a common nickname is enough.

Without the word of whoever created 'moises', anything else is just conjecture. At the least he should go into the 2007 draft pool.

Either way I'll furl the old jolly roger after this.

Oscar Tejada is Moises Tejada, and he's on the Pirates. Again, not sure why there's a discrepancy on DOBs (or which one is correct) or why he was initially identified as an OF, but it's the same guy. And the reason that he's listed as an "0-" is that Bren ruled a few days after the international signing period started that we would change our rules, but those players who had already been signed (Montero, Beltre and Tejada for three) stayed on their teams but are henceforth identified as 0- instead of 6-.

I made the same mistake during our rookie draft, drafting him as Oscar as well. It's just one of the risks of dealing with the really young Dominicans.
brett succinctly summarized the conditions leading to him being a '0' player instead of a '6'
