Also not playing but find it to be a fascinating cultural phenomenon. I think it has staying power, I've read that they're going to do what they did with the other Pokemon games and slowly start adding new ones from the other games to keep people engaged.

Don't play. Don't have time for games and I rarely have a cell phone signal anywhere it seems like.
Haven't really settled on an opinion on it yet. On one hand, it's getting kids outside and physically active, which is great, but on the other hand people are glued to their phones even more now and have even less awareness as to what's going on around them.
