Then auction it off.

How would we auction it off?

What do you propose? Will we force teams to mini-draft?

There will be some teams that want to minidraft. Nate's team is good, but its also pretty old with the exception of Cain, Wright and Ramirez

The auction comment was kind of a joke. I suspect there will be a few teams that will want to enter a minidraft. Oh, and Aarons right the team is getting kind of old (in baseball years that is).

While I would absolutely hate to force any team into a minidraft, almost every new GM has participated in a minidraft (or inherited a minidrafted team). If no other GM is interested in participating in a minidraft (and I hink any current GM should have the option of participating if they choose to), then Milwaukee and Cinci should do it.
2. Minidrafts for New Members
A. All new members may be subject to a minidraft.

If it's my team, Nate's team, and some newbie GM, I'd be happy to participate in a mini-draft.

That's the thing, it becomes diminishing returns for everyone once there are more than 4 teams in the draft, Nate's team isn't deep enough.

Everybody's forgetting the ExCo tax. The four permanent ExCo's get 1 type A player from Nate's team and then the two yearly get two type B's. Then the team is handed over to a newbie.

That rule for the ExCo getting to take players only applies after the IBC Yanks get to swap out players from the Reds and Yanks, so the pickings will be slim.

I'm not too proud to admit that I desperately covet Hanley Ramirez and David Wright.

I may be interested in a mini-draft...since I've had an injury black cloud ever since I took over the team 3 years ago.

Also, I have 2 excellent choices for replacement.
