Dodgers signed RHP Dylan Covey to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.

Covey, who compiled a lackluster 6-29 record with a 6.57 ERA, 1.59 WHIP and 184/116 K/BB ratio across 264 1/3 innings (71 appearances, 45 starts) over four major-league seasons, spent the last two years in the Chinese Professional Baseball League. The 31-year-old right-hander represents quality organizational pitching depth for the Dodgers entering the 2023 campaign.
