If Nils really wants it let him have it. I don't recall any of the guys who came back getting the same franchise they left with. But it Nils doesn't want it then let it go. I don't think anyone besides Nils, since thats who the franchise was left to, has a claim on Boston besides Bren. Bren won a title there and has been the GM of that team since day one, so unless Nils has somehow become attatched to moving there already it shouldnt be an issue for Bren to remain there.

I think it's pretty irrelevant honestly. The move wouldn't take effect until next year. Who's to say Nils even wanted to go to the AL East anyway? Nothing was set in stone there.

I tend to think that it should be Nils' decision.

Nils told me that he was inclined to stay in SF if Bren was coming back.
