Not sure if Shawn is around, but I think he told me that he wasn't sure whether you wanted to keep it and would add it back if you did. I'm sure he'll see this, but if not someone will let him know.

Selected by Seattle Mariners in 13th Round (405th overall) of 2007 amateur entry draft ... with Putz off the roster and the M's reportedly committed to keeping Brandon Morrow as a starter, Kelley's chance to earn saves could come earlier rather than later. He has already notched nine saves with 21 strikeouts in 14 2/3 innings in the Venezuelan Winter League and, as of now, would only have to compete with the likes of Mark Lowe and Cesar Jimenez to become Seattle's closer. Finishing up at AA last season, in the two seasons he has pitched since being drafted Kelley has a 86/26 K/BB, 1.98 ERA, 1.21 WHIP in 77.1 IP with 15 saves. Drilling down, that is 10.0 K/9 and 0.5 HR/9.

He appears to be worth a draft slot and could be a valuable part of the IBC 2010 bull pen if he pans for real in 2009 with the M's.
