DevilRays create Nick 6-Tyson
DevilRays create Nick 6-Tyson
From BA pre-draft scouting report:
"Nick Tyson is probably the best pure athlete in New Jersey, with enticing speed and arm strength."
Brewerfan.net says of Tyson:
"A tough competitor, he has good command of his fastball, which sits right around 90 mph with plenty of room for added velocity given his athletic, projectable frame, and he has a plus curveball when it is working for him that gives him two legitimate strikeout pitches."
"Tyson is a similar prospect to Rob Bryson in body type and stuff. Both enjoyed a spike in velocity this spring while tightening up their breaking pitches. An athletic frame and easy arm action leads the Brewers to believe that he may continue to add velocity to his fastball while refining the rest of his game, and will take his talents to West Virginia just like most everyone else on this list."

DevilRays claimed Charles Fisher
DevilRays claimed Charles Fisher
MVN:
"Using his low 90s sinker, Fisher is a groundball pitcher who still gets plenty of strikeouts. Fisher saw his ERA jump to 4.29 while in Chattanooga, but he also experienced some bad luck thanks to a .350 BABIP."
From a recent BA chat:
"His heavy sinker, delivery and tendency to wear down seem to fit better in the bullpen. He could move pretty quickly after a move to the pen, and could be helping the Reds as early as this September."
How does Carlos Fisher project in the big leagues, if at all?
"As a big league setup man who gets lots of ground ball outs with his heavy sinker."
