Guardians offseason block

Post by Guardians »

1/22/23...Editing this post after a flurry of offseason deals (no shock there).

What's available:

I have a ton that can be put on the block this year, so let's get to it:
  • Amed Rosario: 2.7 fWAR season in Cleveland and really coming into his own after a consistent prospect status
  • Nelson Cruz: Boomstick
  • Outfielders: Gurriel, Duvall, Taylor, Rosario
  • Jorge Mateo: 2.8 fWAR season in Baltimore with 35 SB
  • Jon Berti: 2.3 fWAR season in Miami with 41 SB
  • Mauricio Dubon: .262/.308/.385 1.6 fWAR projection as a CF. Solid role player
  • David Robertson: Huge comeback season with the Cubs/Phillies, Robertson ended with 63.2 IP and a 11.45 K/9 ratio and 2.40 ERA
  • Other Prospects: Couple top 100 guys, couple fun gambles. Something for everyone!
  • Someone I haven't listed? Just ask.
Looking for:
  • Picks
  • Prospects

Happy Wednesday!

I've had a few people interested in Corey Seager. With Rosario in the fold, I can entertain a discussion, if the return is equitable. PM, Hangouts works

Updated block after a few more deals. I've got quite a few hitters/starters/useful bench players I can move this offseason still. I'm interested in picks, prospects, and maybe one more RP (low leverage/depth) to snag this offseason.

I'm feeling pretty good about what Duvall will be in Boston, so I'm looking to move Lourdes Gurriel, Mauricio Dubon and maybe Nelson Cruz, though maybe ZiPS will like him when his projection comes out.

For RP, I have: David Robertson, Anthony Maldonado, RJ Alaniz

For infield, Jorge Mateo, Jonah Bride

Looking for picks and prospects.

Now that we're two weeks away from the draft instead of four, I'm tossing the #5 overall pick onto the block. I've got some targets, but also willing to discuss dealing it, if it makes sense. You know how to find me.

Looking to get a pick in the early 2nd round...somewhere between 30-40. Let me know what's available.

With ZiPS being added to player profiles, some new info on my block players:

Lourdes Gurriel got a healthy bump after being dealt from Toronto to Arizona.

Before: .269/.319/.429 14 HR 69 RBI 0.8 fwar
After: .285/.335/.441 12 HR 57 RBI 1.7 fwar

Nelson Cruz finally has a projection in San Diego:

.245/.325/.415 19 HR 69 RBI 1.0 fwar

Same with Adam Duvall in Boston:

.240/.301/.492 24 HR 67 RBI 2.3 fwar

I've still got 2 3-win SS in Rosario and Mateo -- I'd like to move one. Dubon and Berti would each make solid infield/outfield utility guys. And I've still got some RP depth with Maldonado, Sanders, Alaniz, Anderson.

Looking to add picks and prospects.
