Always one of my favorites, even more so as I've gotten older. What a shame.
Norm MacDonald
Re: Norm MacDonald
Absolutely brilliant comic
Re: Norm MacDonald
I've been watching a lot of Norm on youtube lately. What has stood out to be is how absolutely fearless Norm was with his jokes, he did not give a fuck about anything.
My entire class load this year is teaching current events. I'm going to give them something to do over the California recall and we're going to watch Norm clips all day while they work.

Saw him at the Tempe Improv, this was probably 05-06ish. Finished his set. Applause. Goes back to do an encore bit. Someone does a quick heckle. He says “fuck it” turns around and walks off stage. Audience erupts. He somehow made that funny.

Just commit to it fully and play Carlin or Pryor.Cardinals wrote: ↑Wed Sep 15, 2021 7:12 am I've been watching a lot of Norm on youtube lately. What has stood out to be is how absolutely fearless Norm was with his jokes, he did not give a fuck about anything.

Re: Norm MacDonald
My favorite thing about Norm was always the way that other comedians responded to him. That Bob Saget roast was a perfect example. Every fan shot is like, 'What the fuck is this?' Every comedian shot is them just burying their heads in laughter.
He was always one of my favorites...and Dirty Work was so underrated.
