Nationals manager Manny Acta appears committed to going with Wily Mo Pena in left field next season.

"Hopefully, Wily Mo can hit 30 to 35 home runs for us and continue to put fear in the opposition, which is what he did for us once he joined our club," Acta said. "I didn't think we had anybody [else] that could intimidate another club." If Pena is to play regularly at the start of the year, then Elijah Dukes figures to come off the bench or get assigned to Triple-A.
That should help WMP's projection next season. We needed a good one out of him, as he'll be hitting somewhere around the 5 spot in the lineup.
