Starting Pitching Depth
Starting Pitching Depth
We all know how tough it is to get front line starters in this league, so I have taken the approach of getting a stable of young studs and seeing if the cream can rise to the top.
I'm curious how my starter depth compares to some other teams. If you would be so kind, please list all Starting pitchers you have that played at least AA ball in '07.
1. Matt Garza (3 PCL)
2. Adam Loewen*
3. Mike Pelfrey (12 PCL)
4. Jeff Niemann (9 IL)
5. Johnny Cueto (4 SL)
6. Manny Parra* (8 SL)
7. Alan Horne (7 EL)
8. Bandon Morrow - Moving back to Starter.
9. Matt Harrison*
10. Ricky Romero*
11. David Purcey*
12. Cesar Carillo (DL)
* Lefthanded

That about covers it....not really stud arms or spects, but should keep me competitive, and with a couple of breaks, I'll at least have some trade chips.
Hopefully Hellickson makes the disc in 2008 too.
