Filling the freezer (PETA unfriendly)

I'm going to be at camp for the next week or so as I try to add two deer to the small moose taken during VT's moose season. No internet, no TV, no cell coverage, snow, large tracts of forest, wood heat, good friends. Therapy for the soul.

Forecast calls for cloudy and 16-18 degrees in the morning all week. A little tracking snow and it'll be perfect.

Warning: I may post pics from the hunting season and coming winter's ice fishing season too.

This place was way too PETA friendly the past six years.

Can't say I'm much of a hunter, but my backwoodsy uncles from upstate NY always give us coolers full of deer, elk, bear, whatever big stuff they're always killing. mmmmm.... good eatin.
