Pick 101 & 109
Looking to move both. Looking for a RHRP, or to bundle with an SP or other player for a modest upgrade.
Nothing illegal about it. He's 29 years old, not subject to the MLB draft and not an international signee. When I raised the signing with a representative of the ExCo, they expressed no concerns or issues with the signing. Not that it matters, he'll be the first guy released during our actual draft.WhiteSox wrote:Throw in the illegally signed Tebow (should be Tim 16-Tebow) too and I am sure you will have a deal.

Illegal is harsh but you and the exco member you floated it by were mistaken according to the way the rule reads. You cite two things that the rules do not state. It just says:Padres wrote:Nothing illegal about it. He's 29 years old, not subject to the MLB draft and not an international signee. It was a really odd scenario and we did a bad job of addressing it immediately. I only noticed it after getting back from a trip out of the country.
