Rockies Block

Post by Rockies »

Rockies have a glut of middle infields, would like to move them for some other positions - doesn't really matter what.

Tim Beckham - 2b/ss - still just 25. vg rated d at 2b, avg at ss. Had a very good april followed by a slumping may. currently on the DL.

Daniel Castro - SS - breakout year in AA for the braves SS. Has cooled off a bit in his AAA promotion, but here's a kid who walks a lot, doesn't K a lot, and gets on base. Just 22 years old in AAA.

Eduardo Escobar - 2b/ss/lf - kind of a super utility guy for the real life Twins. He's simming very well in CO at the top of the order with an avg over 300.

Andrew Velazquez - was hoping for a follow up to last year's breakout year, but its on hold with a DL stint. Tampa Bays #10 prospect per BA.

Also still have on the block:

Krod - 1.42 ERA, .89 WHIP, 9 Saves, 22K, 6BB, 11 hits in 19 IP. These are real life numbers.

Justin Morneau - Currently DL'd but still has an oustanding projection: 292/345/462 with 6 RC/27.

Gregor Blanco - could help someone's bench for sure. VG lf defense, VG jump, VG steal, EX running.. Having a very nice year in MLB with a .787 OPS.

These are the guys most readily available. I wouldn't be asking for a ton in most cases, tho Krod and Morneau would need to bring something reasonable back. I am willing to discuss just about anyone on the roster not named Arenado and Marte.

PM or gchat! I'm in a trading mood.

Castro cut to make room for some pickups..

Escobar dealt.

Still looking to move some of the above. Morneau, Krod, Blanco could really help some contenders, and its getting close to that time you push your chips in.. pm or gchat.

Maybe.. FIP and xFIP seem to jive pretty well with each other and are not that different from real life ERA. He's pitching very, very well.

Gregor Blanco, in real life - makes a super nice bench/4th outfielder for a contender. His projection is solid(94 OPS+ I think), and his ratings on the bases and defense in LF are very very nice. VG in LF, EX running, VG Steal, VG Jump. He'll have value beyond this year with the season he's having.

Looking for draft picks.

Morneau and Blanco could be had for best pick avail. Both guys can help contenders(Morneau when he gets off the DL)..

Edit..

Also willing to package current picks with current prospects/players if it means an upgrade somewhere.

For example.. Would package a pick with a guy like Ryan Stanek/Jacoby Jones for a different prospect.. Would do Morneau and a pick for an upgrade at 1b long term.. etc. etc.
