CHRISTIAN COLON, 2B/SS/3B
Projection:.263/.310/.330, 13 SBs
IBC: .278/.335/.397, 9 SBs
Real life: .286/.348/.333, 2 SBs –K’d only 9 times
Notes: Plays all three INF positions. VG bunter and baserunner. Continues to hit and force his way into KC’s lineup. Only 26 years old.

ENDER INCIARTE, OF
Projection: .275/.316/.368, 31 SBs
Real life: .284/.316/.370, 8 SBs
Notes: Rates VG in LF/CF, AV in RF, VG throwing arm. Forced his way into starting lineup in Arizona (and trade of Trumbo) with good hit tool and Gold Glove defense. Only 24 years old.

NICK MARTINEZ, RH SP
Projection: 7-10, 4.95 ERA
Real life: 4-2, 2.89 ERA, 1.36 WHIP
Notes: Has been very good for the Rangers this year thanks to an excellent slider that he throws 25% of the time (he throws 5 pitches regularly). Before his last start—which wasn’t good—he’d gone 16 straight starts allowing 3 runs or fewer. Only 24 years old. Rates as SP and RP this year.

PEDRO BAEZ, RH RP
Projection: 2-1, 3.82 ERA
IBC: 0-1, 2.61 ERA -- 26 K and only 2 BBs in 20.2 IP
Real life: 1-0, 1.76 ERA, 1.70 FIP, 0.978 WHIP, 12:1 K:BB
Notes: Future IBC (and maybe MLB) closer has been lights out. Working his way back from torn pec (thanks to Mattingly’s desire to use him every night), started a throwing program last week and reports no pain. Should be back in action soon.

JOSE PIRELA, INF/OF
Projection: .252/.297/.379, 10 SBs
Notes: The ultimate bench bat, can play all seven INF/OF positions. Quite useful vs. LHP (.261/.308/.389). Also EX baserunner. Reggie Jackson called him “the best hitter in the Yankees organization.” Only 25 years old.

JUAN CENTENO, C
Projection: .261/.301/.320
Notes: Useful platoon/backup profile, LH swinger who plays AV defense with a VG arm.

TAYLOR JORDAN, RH SP
Projection: 5-5, 4.06 ERA
Notes: Projection makes him useful back-end/depth (projected FIP is under 4.00). Only 26 years old. Good MLB FIP, too (3.03).

EVAN MARSHALL, RH RP
Projection: 5-4, 3.51 ERA
Notes: Projection and K rate make him useful if you need one more reliever.
