Xbox One vs. PS4
Xbox One vs. PS4
Thinking of getting a new system soon, leaning towards an xbox, so I figured I'd see what everybody here prefers. What does everybody have (or want)?

Ended up getting an xbox one anyway. My brother in law is gonna be pissed since he's been hounding me to get a PS4 for a while now so I can play some stuff online with him. I've always loved the Halo series and Forza, and this will also be our media center since we don't have cable. Seems like xbox one works better as a media center while PS4 has higher performance for purely gaming.
Either way, so far it's been pretty awesome. Fiance likes the kinect dance game so she can do fitness on it when she can't make it to the gym, and I really like the snap feature so I can watch Netflix while playing games so that I can rot my brain twice as fast.

My system came with Assassins Creed Unity and Black Flag. I played about 30 minutes or so of Unity last night and was blown away.Brewers wrote:I have the xbox one and really enjoy it. I had not owned a gaming system since the original Nintendo so it took a little getting used to. Really like the two Assassin's Creed games, Dead Rising 3 and the Halo Master Chief Collection so far.
Hoping to get Forza 5 and Titanfall in the near future.

Gun to my head I think I liked black flag a tiny bit better but they were both awesome.
I have yet to dabble in online play but if you're looking for someone who can spin around while looking at his feet and accidentally throw grenades at his teammates in Halo I'm your man. Unity has some cool co-op stuff too. You should definitely check out Dead Rising if you are in to that sort of game.

I'm no help. Never had either system. Anyone still rocking a PS3 online like me? I need some new people to blow up in GTAV.Brewers wrote:Gun to my head I think I liked black flag a tiny bit better but they were both awesome.

Yep, my seven year old uses it more than I do, though and he's not ready for GTA. He's pretty good at Madden though, kicks the shit out of me when we play. When I get a chance to get on it, I mostly play the retro RBI baseball that was released last year.Tigers wrote:I'm no help. Never had either system. Anyone still rocking a PS3 online like me?
