We obviously are forced to move Houston to the ALW for 2013, since the schedule will be set up as such. So that's not really an issue, just something Dan or whomever the GM of Houston is will have to deal with.

As for the other MLB changes, we're going to continue to mimic the MLB, right? So we'll be adding the extra wild card/1 game playoff between wild card teams as soon as MLB does, I assume. Unless any of you guys have any big problem with that. If it's implemented for 2012, then I guess we'll be adding a fifth team in each league... which really probably benefits us a lot, more teams will want to at least give a damn towards the end of the season.

Personally I'd like to keep the playoffs as is, but if y'all want to change I'll go along with it

We've always matched MLB when possible, I don't see any reason why we wouldn't change with them.
