Pittsburgh Deadline Block

We've got a week until the deadline, but whatever. I'm still in need of a better third starter than Brett Myers for the playoffs (3.98 ERA, 1.28 WHIP projection). It seems like Buchholz could be back, but I'm not holding my breath.

Aside from #3 SP, I could still stand to upgrade my offense a bit. Billy Butler at 1B, Brandon Phillips at 2B and Brendan Ryan at SS all spring to mind, though I'm ok with Ryan's glove at SS.

Anyway, I've got the following available:

Juan Nicasio - and yes, he's alive and will be pitching a bit in the winter leagues this year. Should be ready for the spring.
Clay Buchholz
Jameson Taillon
Scott Feldman
Billy Butler
Brandon Phillips
Grant Green
Eric Young Jr.
Aubrey Huff - for contenders
Nick Johnson - for contenders
Jake Westbrook - for contenders

All other prospects are available as well. Though I will say I'm likely to hang onto Houston's first rounder unless I've got an offer that really makes a lot of sense for me.

Well, the pick, Green, Oramas, Taillon and Myers are all gone.

Nicasio, Buchholz, Butler, Feldman, Phillips, EY Jr, Huff et al remain available. Looking for 1B upgrade, CF upgrade, RF upgrade - have Butler, Byrd and Choo at those positions. I will say in advance, though, that I probably like Buchholz more than most in the league, so his price is pretty high.

The only guys I'm not moving are the usual suspects.

Happy with my bullpen for now, though if somebody has a lefty with a high K-Rate for it, I'm all ears.

Still would be willing to move the aforementioned guys. Willing to move Jake Westbrook and Nick Johnson fairly cheap to those who need an extra arm or bat trying to make the playoffs.

With Nathan and Marshall in, I'm ok with my bullpen.

Westbrook and Nick the Stick still available for a draft pick or prospect that I like. Obviously not looking for top 100 types.

Would like to upgrade Billy Butler tonight at 1B if at all possible. Cupboards getting admittedly bare, but willing to talk on guys like Stauffer, Feldman, Nicasio, Rymer Liriano, Edinson Rincon, Eric young and all other prospects.
