Looking for:
- RH bat that hits LHP for power off the bench. If you're a contender and are short on LH bats, I'd swap Garrett Jones or Hideki Matsui for a RH equivalent.
- Closer, preferably one who lost their job but has a decent enough projection to be worth a good prospect or a bat for 2012
- Upgrade at 3B - looking for an av or better defender who has at least similar power numbers to Aramis Ramirez, who's back to his old self at .309/.355/.524 with 24 HR and could be included with a prospect or OF for a guy with a similar bat and better glove
- Upgrade in RF - Looking for a LH slugger here with Vg or Ex pwr vs RH and Av or betterr D range. Matt Joyce (.844 OPS, 17 HR, 11 SB) could be packaged with a prospect, SP or another bat in the right deal.
- LH SP - with Sanchez possibly joining De la Rosa out for the season, I'm still in the market for long or shorter term answers at LH SP, but could use another quality RH SP just for depth. Buehrle (3.19/1.23), Surkamp, Cosart, Sanchez, De la Rosa among those available in different deals.
- long term answer in CF, or one that'll at least be good next year while Francisco Peguero learns that the only 2 guys who're allowed to swing every.single.time are Vlad and Ichiro (Everyone else needs to take a few of the ones that ain't close enough to hit).
Hit me.
