Murphy has been a league average hitter through his sophomore year (after an excellent rookie year) and is still only 24 yrs old. He can play OF, 3b and 1b, but will become exclusively a 1B. Lars Anderson is my 1b so Murphy is expendable, however I don't mind keeping him as a DH.
K-Rod had a down year... which interestingly is still an very good year. PitchFX actually showed that his velocity improved slightly from 2008 suggesting he's healthy. I fully expect him to rebound and be a strong closer for years to come. Did I mention he's only 27? MANY years left in that tank.
