2010 Gritty Gutty A's

[Giants]

Gritty, Gutty, and I really have no clue what the team is going to look like, but it's always fun to do this.

Lineup
LF: Fred Lewis (still gonna rock the VG defense and a .350 OBP with some speed)
3B: Casey Blake (actually had a positive defensive year for the first time in a while
DH: Jason Bay (one real live middle of the order bat)
RF: JD Drew (two real live middle of the order bats)
CF: Mike Cameron (one more good year coming)
C: Buster Posey/Ryan Doumit (we shall see, but go Buster)
SS: Juan Uribe/Julio Lugo (who would have thought either guy would ever be useful?)
2B: Mark Ellis (still the best defensive 2B in the game, though Uribe might challenge him if he isn't the shortstop)

Bench:
Vernon Wells (3 year OPS is still over .800 and he wasn't awful in the second half)
Jeff Keppinger/Eric Hinske/Adam Kennedy (useful utility guys all, makes me wish I was in the National League)
Dave Ross (having another periodic good year with .866 OPS and another strong defensive season)

Rotation
SP: Shaun Marcum (I expect him back strong and with a vengeance)
SP: Brett Myers (Always pitches better than his sim for me)
SP: Gil Meche (Hopefully this year's back problems don't do too much damage to him)
SP: Derek Holland (ERA is ugly, peripheral stats are terrific, should be much better next year)
SP: Burke Badenhop (Nice little waiver wire pickup, don't look now but he went 7-4 with a 3.86 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, and a 2:1 K/BB and 2.04/1 GB/FB)

Pen
Closer: Huston Street (he's baa-aa-aa-ck)
RH SU: Kiko Calero (he's baa-aa-aa-ck redux)
RH SU: Chad Qualls (he'll be baa-aa-aa-ck)
ROOGY: Mark DiFelice (he'll be baa-aa-ck redux)
LOOGY: Dennys Reyes (eh)
MR: Brad Ziegler (ERA is better than peripherals, but I love a good sidearmer)

Moral of the story, I've got a lot of useful pieces that I can hopefully consolidate into some impact players. Also never know if an also ran like Ben Francisco or John Mayberry ends up stealing a projection.
