Jay Bruce

Ouch....

For all those those who are looking towards next season and have inquired about Jay he is now available because I need to replace his offense for the next several weeks if I expect to stay in the race.

I can do this by simply dealing him for a corner OFr or combining him and Helton and dealing them both for a better 1B.

Since I still have him for another week I don't need to rush things but I will deal him if the deal is right.

Could not have been better news because there is no damage to tendons/muscles and no surgery, so he will miss 6-8 weeks. I have received several solid inquiries which has slowed me down a little, and now I suspect that the draft pick option will add to that. If I get an offer that works I will jump on it in the next day or so. Thanks for your patience.

PM's are being sent despite error message, it just doesn't send the e-mail. Check outbox to see if PM is unread and sentbox to see if the PM has been read.

Kelly will not have 8 PM's if that's true from me.

What's going on is simply this. When you send a PM, you'll receive an error message on the next page saying the E-mail could not be sent. The email it's referring to is the notification we receive in our inbox when we have a new PM. The PM is still actually sent, and you'll still see it in your outbox/sentbox/inbox in your PM's, and the pop up will still occur on the website when you have a new PM. The E-mail notification is just currently f'ed up and will be fixed later this week.

OK. So why did I receive the same PM from John 8 times? No big deal really, just curious.

No error message now, so I think the issue is fixed.
