Looking forward to a series b/w two of the best teams in baseball. Series like this one make me enjoy interleague play.

Ortiz gets out the glove at 1B for the first time in 09. Cautiously optimistic on the bat coming around - .310/.394/.655, 3 HR, 7 RBI to start June, but a long way to go.

Love having Dave Roberts on the NESN broadcast. He could be terrible and Red Sox fans will still say he was great just b/c of the warm fuzzy feeling we get whenever we think of "the steal." Been a big fan of Eck (he's no Remy, of course - but nobody is), but I like when they switch it up - except sometimes on the road when they put on a boring ex-blue jay like Rance Mulliniks.

Howard with a bomb off of Ramon Ramirez to tie it at 2 in the 9th. Good one to start the series.
